Use construction or panel adhesive continuously on the backside and nails to secure the moulding in place until the adhesive bonds. Do not use staples to fasten the material, keep nails to a minimum (no closer than 6 inches between nails), and avoid nailing closer than 3/8 inch from the edge of the moulding. Flex Trim is stable and will not absorb moisture, making it ideal for humid environments. It can withstand extreme temperatures without being affected.

It is important to let the material relax back into its original shape before installation, as well as double-check the molding style and application. Avoid pre-finishing the material prior to installation, as the material may flex during installation, causing fractures in the finish. Ensure that the surface you are applying the material to is flat and smooth, as flexible molding will follow any irregularities in the surface. Do not use staples or nails with large heads, keep nails to a minimum and away from edges to avoid bumps at the edge. Use construction adhesive in conjunction with or in place of nails or screws for a cleaner finished look and easier application. Let the material warm up to room temperature for maximum flexibility.
